Motorola Droid Turbo: A powerful Android With a perfect battery life And Turbo Charger

Motorola Droid Turbo has hit our headline for its super battery and also packs the recent technology of Turbo charger. Droid is priced at a fair price of $199.99 with 2-yr contract for a version with 32 GB of in-built memory. The 64-GB model is exclusively offered with Ballistic Nylon and no Verizon branding for $249.99.

Design

Looking at the design, DROID Turbo is not what you would call a beautiful phone instead of perfectly groomed aluminum frames, Turbo is more function over fashion and it is available in red and black the phone is made of Ballistic Nylon which is used to make the backpacks and suitcases, it is a very strong material thus it promises a very long life and without any fear of it falling a Matte finish of Kevlar which makes it feel and look premium, the threads of the ballistic Nylon are incredibly strong and very gripy. The phone is –Water resistance because it is covered by water repellent coating inwards with allows it to last up-to 1 minutes under 6-inches of water, though it doesn't look like Sony Xperia Z3 which can stay up-to 30 Minutes, the feature of water resistance helps when there is a sudden down pour and you really need to make a call.
The phone physically measures 146.5 x 73.3 x 10.6 mm weighing 169 grams having a QHD AMOLED display of 5.2-Inch with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a super pixel density of 565ppi which is the highest pixel density up-to date. Viewing angles and contrast of the display are excellent as expected, with such a crisp display, contents looks pretty phenomenal, videos looks very brilliant but colors are not naturally accurate has you would see on high quality IPS LCD display
Above the display there is an earpiece, a loudspeaker and a 2 MP front facing camera. Additionally there are ambient light and the proximity sensor and one of the IR sensors. Below the screen there are three capacitive keys for navigating and the second IR sensor is located there to as well as the mouthpiece, Nothing is on the left of the phone, On the right side there is power lock key and the volume rocker, the nanoSIM trey is under removable volume rocker, a 3.5 mm audio jack is located on-top of the device with the microUSB port at the bottom of the device. At the back, 21 MP lens camera and dual-LED flash and the signature of Verizon and Droid branding.  It is very unfortunate that the phone doesn't have stereo speakers; the single front facing speakers, which rest on-top of the device doesn't produce the best quality as those of other flagship phones like Nexus 6.

Performance

DROID Turbo is powered by Quad-core 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, a 3GB RAM and Adreno 420 graphics processor running on Android v4.4.4 KitKat which will be upgraded to the new Android v5.0 Lollipop. In AnTuTu benchmark, it still came first scoring 47067, followed by Samsung Galaxy Note 4 46824, HTC one M8 came third scoring 44020 and also in graphic processor it also topped the list.

What is also awesome about the camera is that it can be activated by a simple hand gesture, just twisting your wrist twice when holding the device, the camera will be on. The camera also offers HDR, burst shots and panorama, it can also shoots videos at 24fps. At the front is a 2MP camera capable of 1080p videos for video-call and selfies, though can’t compete with front cameras of other flagship phones like HTC Eye.
