After Microsoft took over the brand Lumia kicking out Nokia,
Nokia has made a surprising move, it did not want to stay on the ground, they
have released a very good tablet called Nokia N1 running on Android v 5.0
Lollipop and a custom UI called Nokia Z.
Nokia N1 is designed just like iPad mini and it is very
impressive tablet with 4:3 aspect ratio and a 7.9-inch display with a very good
resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels with Gorilla Glass and a fully laminated zero
air gap display, it also have an aluminum frame to make it look more premium
just like other competitors like Nexus 9.
Looking at its
Hardware, it packs a different chip from what most tablet uses, Qualcomm
snapdragon, it uses Intel Z3580 chip which is 64-bit, only 64-bit processor can
support Android L, same chip is the one used with Dell venue 7000 which is a
very high performance tablet, The chip has four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz,
PowerVR G6430 graphics processor and a 2 GB RAM.
The internal storage
is 32 GB but with no expandable card slot, that’s defiantly a disadvantage. A powerful
8 MP camera is at the back and a 5 MP front facing camera, two 0.5W stereo
speakers are at the bottom and a type-C reversible microUSB connector in the
middle.
