Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Getting Along with The first Curved screen

We have been waiting for this phone with curved screen from Samsung and have a chance to use it to see how the next generation of smartphones will look like. First I imagine the curved part to be just a bend with sharp edge but it wasn’t the case. The curved screen is the most unique feature about the phone, otherwise it could have looked like Note since they have the same features except for the screen, in other words Edge is like Note 4 with 160-line edge panel stack on one of the edge in which Samsung galaxy Edge has a smaller one of 5.6-inch compared to that of Note 4 of 5.7-inch. It comes with Super AMOLED screen with QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The display is just perfect and excellent.
Looking at the edge which looks like aforementioned narrow slice of screen that wraps along the edge of the phone like a waterfall. Samsung has introduced new software on top of the Android v4.4.4 to fit the new shape of the phone. The most useful thing of the edge panel does is providing space for the most used apps, it gives quick access to all the favorite apps and it is fully customizable  making it perfect for social addicts , there is also now limit for the no of apps that can be placed on the scrollable edge , you can also create folders to reside on the edge, the edge screen also shows incoming calls, it can also act like a night time alarm clock, showing time and date with the screen off, for social media addicts, it can serve as a scrolling real time information ticker for stocks, sports results, news headline all provided by yahoo. Foe music lovers, the edge screen display the songs name or the album name when playing with Google play and other third party apps, at times it displays the cover album along with the playback controls.

It also has aluminum metal frame coated with magnesium which makes it much gripper which makes it good for trying to hold the large phone measuring 5.46 x 3.14 x 0.33 inches on your hands, which is also smaller than the Note 4. The phone is powered by quad-core 2.7 GHz snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, microSD card slot of up-to 128 GB. The phone’s multi tasking capabilities is very high and is good in gaming  but according to 3D mark Ice storm Unlimited  test Note 4 scored higher than it, Edge scoring 19,951 while Note 4 scoring 20,661.
The S-pen  has been improved, it has two extra pen styles, the fountain and highlighter. The most unique part of the S-pen is that you can use it has a mouse, it is just like that of Note 4, the pen can also shrink apps as you would do for widgets,
The camera is 16 MP rear with OIS and auto-focus and single LED flash  and secondary camera is 3.7 MP. When the app camera is opened, the controls appear on the edge of the phone which is just amazing.
The battery is again smaller than that of Note 4, 300mAh which can be charged from 0-50% in 30 minutes, though we have not tested that but with the power saving apps you can be sure to have enough juice for some long time for your device.

Key features of the phone are;
5.6-inch Super AMOLED display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, it also features a curved screen to add extra content.
Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU, graphical processor of Adreno 420, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset.
